There was an insatiable woman
Who wanted to buy a date fruit tree
Sapling, a majestical one that
She dreamed of having since she saw it.

She wanted it to be in her backyard,
When she went to an old man who sold one
He was very sure it would not fit in
Her horse-drawn wagon, so her bleak heart sank.

Ecstasy, and exultation
Absolutely escaped her grip
The man told her that she could buy
A date fruit from the date fruit tree,
But it wasn't nearly the same.
She wanted to eat the date fruit but
To have her tree, so she felt anxious
She bought the date fruit from the man but
Did not know how she would enjoy it.

She went directly home, and soon ate the
Delicious date fruit in her own backyard
Then she felt a vast piece of happiness,
So, she decided that she would buy all

Sorts of fruit from the old man with
The tree until she could afford
A bigger wagon.  She returned
To the man, and the date fruit tree
Was not there because it was sold.

So she bought all of the pristine fruit,
Hoping she would feel relieved, settled
And a little better or else glad
She went home tried every fruit and found

Out how much happier she doubtless was,
Knowing that without the expensive, prized
Wagon, she would finally feel joy and
Truthful happiness eating more nice fruits.

Now, what would you wishfully have,
Every fruit or the entire tree
Sapling?  Old or young, you can have
It all if you had a wagon
What if you had friends to share with?
