A Heart's Myrrh at Sea

I took my heart to you
To show it off once and
Then told you that I would
Be braver to expose
It to your cloaked Nature.

We were full of life,
At sea in a boat.

I shared with you all
The myrrh and incense
I have brought for us
And was sure I would
Go to you but not

Return empty-handed,
Then I had faced a storm.
